This bench anchor can be fixed in any 19 mm hole and used both horizontally and vertically. It clamps itself securely and is removable at any time. The workpiece is fastened with screws that feature an American UNC coarse thread of 1/2 inch with 13 threads. Since these screws are not readily available in small quantities here, we also offer them.
For through holes, a material thickness of 16 mm is required – depending on the stability of the material, blind holes should be 32 mm deep. This bench anchor has a wedge mechanism that can be fastened and released with an integrated hex screw. A rubber ring holds the two wedge parts together when in the released state. The screw intended to hold the workpiece can be screwed in up to 9.5 mm. This bench anchor is very practical for fastening stops, guides, etc. To prevent screws from being turned in with too much force, which could break the anchor, do not use ones where this is even possible, such as those with hexagonal heads operated with a wrench. Instead, use simple slotted screws as offered here.
