This clamping element from Veritas features a cam lever to speed up adjustments. You simply slide the clamping jaw against the workpiece and flip the lever to clamp. If you want to clamp curved or irregularly shaped workpieces, you can use the two holes in the brass clamping jaw to attach a homemade wooden jaw. This way, you can securely clamp your workpiece without damaging its surface.
The brass clamping jaw measures 16 × 16 × 51 mm. The shaft has a diameter of 19 mm and is 38 mm long. You can use it wherever you can drill a matching hole. The shaft is slightly angled so that the clamping jaw is pressed against the workbench when clamping. The reach of the clamping element is a good 185 mm, and the entire clamping element with the jaw is 265 mm long. The rod, shaft, and clamping mechanism are made of steel.
