Sharpening stone holder made from non-slip material, with an additional ribbed underside for even more grip. Smoothly gliding support on guide rods for the center area of the sharpening stone. Easily adjustable clamping jaw and knurled nuts allow for quick adjustment to the required length. Extended clamping range, benefiting short (natural) stones.

These sharpening stone holders emit more or less of a rubber smell. In the past, sharpening stone holders could be easily categorized: the cheaper ones smelled stronger, and the more expensive ones smelled less or almost not at all. According to our experience, this has obviously changed. The smell dissipates over time. However, if you are sensitive to smells, this assurance may not satisfy you. After conducting a smell test on June 15, 2018, we can offer this tip: The sharpening stone holder from Japan with article number 309800 has the least smell. Less sensitive testers hardly notice any smell at all.
