Installing a traditional tail vise is known to be quite challenging and not for beginners, as a piece of the workbench top must be cut out to integrate the tail vise into the bench. Not so with this one! The VERITAS tail vise can be relatively easily planned and mounted into a new workbench. Even installing it into an existing bench that requires restoration can be done without too much effort.
Since the base plate is symmetrical, this tail vise can be mounted on either the right or left side. It is delivered for right-side mounting, and for left-side mounting, you only need to mount the T-piece for the vise handle and the lever for quick adjustment on the other side of the vise construction.
The vise handle and screws for installation are included in the delivery!
