The only moving parts of this versatile stop are the locking knob and the upper sliding carriage. The interlocking toothed stops, adjustable in millimeter increments (Incremental Rack Packs), can be positioned with a precision of 0.02 mm, making them simple and reliable. In terms of repeat accuracy, they are on par with the larger LS Positioner stops.
The stop made from fiberglass-reinforced resin consists of a fixed lower half and a movable upper half serving as a sliding carriage. The travel distance is 203 mm. The highly precise toothed plastic stops are screwed in where the two halves meet. This provides hundreds of teeth spaced at millimeter intervals for precise adjustment. When the locking knob is tightened, the teeth interlock without any play.
You can easily make a wooden stop with stoppers yourself, enabling you to effortlessly create finger joints and dovetail joints. The precision of the interlocking toothed plastic stops also allows for the creation of a variety of other wood joints.
Although this stop was originally designed for the router, its compact size makes it suitable for a variety of other applications such as a drill press or bandsaw.
The included manual is comprehensive but only available in English! The pictured DVD is no longer part of the package; however, the videos are provided on the INCRA website.
