Inspired by millennia-old principles of geometry, MICROJIG has once again created an extremely useful tool for woodworkers.
The FITFINDER impresses with its self-explanatory function:
Position the workpiece under the probe, lock the mechanism using the two knurled nuts on the back, and you’re done: the position of the pointer automatically gives you half the material thickness. All this in a snap, without error-prone measurements or calculations.
Two magnets are embedded on the underside to ensure a more stable position on magnetic metal surfaces (machine table). Additionally, they allow for „parking” in a suitable place (machine metal casing, shelf supports,...) to always have it quickly at hand when needed.
