The „Lobster” by Naniwa is a soft, resin-bonded stone, providing a pleasant sensation during sharpening as you can clearly feel the removal on the blade. Due to their softness, Lobster stones require frequent flattening to maintain their level surface.
The „Lobster” coarse stone with grit 220 is one of the most affordable coarse stones yet remains very effective. It should be soaked in water for at least 5 minutes before use. Please store it dry after use.
