From the wide range of the manufacturer, we have deliberately chosen the Rapid model from the Premium series. After internal tests, in our opinion, it is a more than successful reinterpretation of a classic.
Originally more for quick rough cuts, these hand saws feature a triple-ground tooth design inspired by Japanese models and an adjusted set, achieving remarkable cutting quality. The teeth are aligned in a straight tooth line for push cuts.
With the hardening of the tooth tips (HARDPOINT) over approximately 2 mm, the saws remain sharp 3 to 5 times longer than usual. Resharpening is thus practically impossible or not sensible due to the demanding tooth geometry.
The saws are equipped with an ergonomic Softgrip handle: This is made of plastic and features a rubber coating for better grip. The shape and size are balanced to accommodate almost every hand size, whether with or without work gloves. For guiding cuts at 45° or 90° angles, the side of the handle facing the saw blade provides orientation: Align the corresponding area on the workpiece and mark along the back. For many applications, such as quick cross-cuts on a construction site, this is accurate enough. Although the attachment of the blade to the handle with three screws might suggest otherwise, replacing the blade is not intended.
Toothing similar to a Japanese crosscut or universal tooth design, but also suitable for panel material and rip cuts.

Choose the tooth pitch according to your preferred application: 11 tpi for higher cutting quality, 9 tpi for faster work progress. The blade length can be oriented to the dimensions of the workpiece, the action radius of the arms (body size), and possibly the transport or storage options. The saws have a practical and generously sized cut-out at the end of the blade for space-saving hanging.
