Product information
This saw is designed for creating fine wood joints with material thicknesses of up to 13 mm. The tooth face is inclined at 15° („rake”), and the angle between the back and face of consecutive teeth („included angle”) is 60°. Additionally, the teeth are alternately beveled at 15° („fleam”), allowing them to cut wood fibers like small knives. This tooth geometry enables easy starting and precise sawing with virtually no tear-out. The saw blade is made of carbon steel, featuring a tooth spacing of 1.2 mm (22 tpi), with a length of 235 mm and a thickness of 0.5 mm. You can cut up to 40 mm deep, with the cut being 0.65 to 0.7 mm wide. The saw’s spine, made of cast plastic, contains stainless steel powder to add weight and fiberglass to enhance stability. The open handle, crafted from hardwood, is comfortable even for smaller hands. The saw has an overall length of 362 mm.
