This plane is excellently suited for rebates and chamfering of all kinds, as well as for reworking tenons. The JUUMA one-handed rabbet plane features a body made of cast iron (40cr). The cap and adjustment screws are made of brass. The blade, made from carbon steel (T10), is over 3 mm thick and hardened to 61 – 63 HRC. This plane bridges the previously large gap in quality and price between simple iron planes and premium planes.
