Product information
There are many features that set this block plane apart from others.
First: the blade is 3.2 mm (1/8 in.) thick and 41 mm (1-5/8 in.) wide, made from A2 steel, which is much more resistant to edge chipping than the blades of other planes. Additionally, this plane iron is 50% thicker than those found in many other block planes, preventing it from chattering, for example, when planing over knots.
The second exceptional feature is the combined blade depth and lateral adjustment. This adjustment is significantly more precise than other adjustment mechanisms.
Thirdly, it is characterized by higher, precisely right-angled side wings, making this plane well-suited for shooting end grain in a shooting board.
With blade adjustment and mouth adjustment.
