Product information
The JUUMA block planes No. 101 and 102 feature a plane body made of bronze. The lever cap and clamping screw are made of brass, while the adjusting screw is made of steel. The blades, made from carbon steel (T10), are hardened to 61 – 63 HRC. These planes, with their robust craftsmanship, complement our range of basic iron planes and premium planes.
The combination of selected materials, proven design, and adequate craftsmanship has resulted in true hand charmers.
These small planes are suitable for all fine work where usual block planes appear too bulky and unwieldy. However, due to their curved side cheeks, they are not suitable for working edges while lying on their side or being guided in a shooting board.
With blade adjustment.
