This cutter consists of 5 cutter blades, each with 1.85 mm wide edges, and one cutter blade with a 5.5 mm wide edge and washers as spacers. When all cutter blades are mounted, the working range (= panel thickness) is 31 to 38 mm. However, individual blades can also be omitted, allowing much thinner panels to be processed.
The cutter is delivered assembled as shown. Additionally, the package includes:
2 spacer rings 16 × 3.4 mm, inner hole Ø 8 mm
10 spacer rings 16 × 0.1 mm, inner hole Ø 8 mm
5 spacer rings 16 × 0.05 mm, inner hole Ø 8 mm
With the additional washers, the fit can be further varied.
The glue joint cutters from Sistemi Klein are carbide-tipped (HM). Due to their size, glue joint cutters should only be used in a router mounted on a router table.
