The Mast-R-Lift Excel II is the top model among router tables from JessEm. It has many improvements over previous models. The spindle of the lift now has double-sealed bearings, the adjustment mechanism—this operates via two gears—features six double-sealed bearings, and the clamping mechanism has three. This guarantees a very long service life and easy operation. Even with the heaviest routers available on the market, the Excel II can be easily adjusted.

All router lifts from JessEm feature a patented pre-tensioning of the threaded spindle. This removes the play in the thread and simultaneously provides a slight resistance when turning. This also prevents vibrations that typically occur due to the play in the spindle and prevents unwanted adjustments of the spindle during routing. Naturally, the Mast-R-Lift Excel II also has this feature. However, JessEm wanted to go further and has therefore installed a special clamping mechanism in the Excel II, which allows for long-lasting, heavy routing tasks without any problems. Thus, the Excel II not only has the capability to pre-tension the spindle but also includes a locking lever located next to the adjustment wheel for the routing depth. Simply flipping the lever ensures that the Excel II is securely clamped, allowing you to rely completely on the depth setting being fixed.

The guide shafts of the Mast-R-Lift Excel II, like all router lifts from JessEm, are hydraulically pressed into sockets. This allows the shafts to be fastened to the plate with more than one screw. This better distributes the lateral forces and leads to a very stable and durable connection that can handle even the heaviest routing tasks. All milled parts of the Mast-R-Lift Excel II are manufactured on CNC-controlled machines at JessEm’s factory in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada. All non-wearing aluminum parts of the Excel II are anodized. This results in a better appearance, higher corrosion resistance, and increased resistance to wear.
