Product information

The JUUMA low-angle bench plane features a body made of cast iron (40cr). The cap is made of brass. The iron, slightly over 3 mm thick and made of carbon steel (T10), is hardened to 61 – 63 HRC. The mouth adjustment is done via a brass lever at the front, allowing for the setting of a small mouth opening for thin shavings. The cherry wood handles emphasize the appealing appearance. This plane bridges the previously large gap in both quality and price between basic iron planes and those from established brand manufacturers.
