With this Japanese chamfer plane, you can effortlessly break the edges of workpieces. The plane’s mouth is diagonally carved to enable a pulling cut during planing. This allows you to achieve a better result because the blade does not immediately engage at its full width—a sort of soft start. Keep the diagonal positioning of the plane in mind when planing whenever possible—the results will convince you! The chamfer width can be adjusted using adjustment screws. Additionally, the plane body with the blade can be shifted sideways on the base body—if part of the blade is dull, simply move the plane body slightly to the side, and you can postpone sharpening.
