Bench vice hardware, front vices, tail vices, screw spindles

Whether you're upgrading an old workbench or building a new one, you'll need vices. They can be shoulder vices, front (face) vices, tail vices, or any combination of the above, depending on your ideas!

We offer three product lines on this page:

German-made bench screws - front and tail vices, used by well-known German producers of workbenches. These are very precise, rugged, and obviously the product of generations of manufacturing experience.

Front vice hardware made in the Czech Republic - good quality and lower-priced. These feature rolled threads, cast-iron bodies, and precise double guides.

Combined front and tail vice made in Sweden - easy to fit!

Bore in T-piece for handles is not the same for all products. Make sure you choose the correct handle!

Wooden Jaw for small York front vice Code 307757

This wooden block made of beech with holes for taking the York front vice Code 307757 makes constructing a workbench even easier. The holes are located so that the top edge of the wooden jaw ends up flush with a standard 40 mm thick worktop. Since the holes are a few millimetres larger than the diameter of the spindle and guide rods, the height can be aligned exactly even if the top is up to 3 mm over- or undersized.
Note: Also fits the German-made small front vice Code 300655, but height alignment hardly possible because of thicker threads.

Hint: Screw the wooden jaw tightly to the front vice only once the front vice is fixed to the underside of the worktop. This lets you align the height exactly right up to the last moment.
Dimensions 356 x 90 x 60 mm
Weight 1.4 kg
Front vice not included!
