This beechwood block with holes for accommodating the above-mentioned large front vise makes building a workbench even easier. The holes are positioned so that a standard 40 mm thick board aligns flush with the top edge of the wooden jaw. Since the holes are a few mm larger than the diameter of the thread and guide rods, the height can be precisely adjusted even with a 3 mm surplus or deficit of the board.
