Aweso is actually a manufacturer of store fixture components. The basis for the store shelves are these mounting tracks (manufacturer’s term) which we want to refer to as „metric T-slot tracks” in the further description.
The advantage of these tracks is that the hex head of an M8 bolt fits exactly into the slot. Thus, T-nuts with M8 threading and a T-width of just under 13 mm also fit, which run better in the tracks due to their larger side length compared to hex bolts. The nut should technically fit as well, but often a bit of filing is needed. However, this is not very significant, as the hex head is generally what is guided in the track.
These tracks require a slot width of 17 mm and a slot depth of 10 mm and are available in 4 lengths from us.
Made from matte anodized aluminum.
Please note: Length tolerance: + 0 mm / - 3.5 mm.
For fastening screws with a 3.5 mm shaft diameter.
Since the tracks are primarily used for shelf construction, you will find adjustment holes for brackets every 25 mm. Every 200 mm, there are mounting holes for countersunk screws with a shaft diameter of 3.5 mm. The mounting holes have a diameter of 4.5 mm, and the adjustment holes are 4 mm.
