Flush trim routers with a shaft-side guide ring are used to trim overhanging laminated materials, such as veneers, to achieve a flat edge surface. In this process, the guide bearing is centrally guided along the edge surface of the base plate while the cutters remove the overhanging material. With a flush trim router with a shaft-side guide ring, the cutter and guide ring have the same diameter.
The flush trim routers from Sistemi Klein are carbide-tipped (HM).
