The blade is sharpened, not polished. The handle fits very well in the hand. Users with both small and large hands praise the shape. These chisels are relatively short, but still too long to be simply called butt chisels. They are close in length to Japanese chisels, which are known for allowing particularly precise and sensitive work due to the proximity of the working hand to the workpiece. From our perspective, these are full-fledged chisels, provided the chiseling depth does not exceed 70 mm.
The total length is only 205 mm, and the sharpened part of the mirror side is approximately 70 mm long. The diameter of the handle at its thickest point is 38 mm. Wood is a natural product, so the color and grain pattern of the individual handles may vary.
