For drill bits with a straight hex shank from 5 – 16 mm. Drill bits with hex shanks are common and available in many sizes, making this the ideal hand brace for users who use modern drill bits. The drill bit is held very securely in this brace. Also suitable for drill bits with square shanks! The drill bit with a square shank is inserted into the chuck, with the shank fitting into the rectangular hole at the base of the chuck to prevent the tool from twisting. Only conditionally suitable for drill bits with round shanks, as they can easily slip under greater loads.
