The HSS wood twist drills from the PROFI series by Fisch feature optimized precutters for especially clean drilling. These precutters are drawn similarly to high-quality auger bits. They ensure the pulling down and cutting through of wood fibers before the hole is drilled. These drills are versatile: besides wood, they are also suitable for wood materials, MDF, and even acrylic glass.
Centering Tip
A perfectly centered tip by the CNC machine allows for absolute precision drilling.
Precutters
Precutters are 0.4 mm higher than the main cutting edges, ensuring a perfect drill hole.
HSS Steel
This special steel, which is almost equivalent to HSS quality, ensures a significantly longer lifespan.
Spiral
The four guide chamfers enable better guidance of the drilling in the desired direction.
Wood twist drill with centering tip, 2 cutting edges, and 2 precutters and 4 guide chamfers. Optimized precutters in drawn design ensure the pulling down and cutting through of wood fibers before the hole is drilled. The 4 guide chamfers prevent diameter deviation.
