Sometimes drill bits do not fit into our drill presses because the shank of the drill bit is too short and does not reach the rectangular hole at the base of the chuck. The drill bit is placed approximately 17 mm „higher” with this adapter, allowing drill bits with shorter shanks to find a hold.
