This leather tool roll with 12 leather compartments is suitable for a variety of tools, particularly chisels, rasps, and files.
Often, the question arises whether to place the tools with the blade or the handle into the cloth compartment. Generally, it is done in such a way that chisels are inserted blade-first, while carving tools are placed handle-first to keep the blade visible. This prevents the need to remove all tools when searching for a specific one.
We recommend: Insert all tools with the handle first into the roll so you can always see which tool you want to grab. When rolling up, the sturdy fabric lies between the blades, preventing them from knocking against each other. These tool rolls are suitable for most chisels and carving tools we offer. An exception is the carpenter’s chisels from Kirschen and MHG, whose handles are too thick. Pay attention to the handle diameter specified in the chisel product descriptions.
