This chisel roll-up bag is manufactured using a unique 3D knitting process. This method is similar to the well-known 3D printing. Different stitches and special yarns can be combined to create a stable, one-piece construction.
The bag is made from heavy polyester yarn. The flap that covers the edges of the chisels is made from cut-resistant Kevlar®. The bag is suitable for chisels with lengths from 228 mm (9 inches) to 292 mm (11-1/2 inches). It features seven stretchable pockets that can accommodate handles with diameters up to 44 mm (1-3/4 inches).
For transport and storage, the roll can be closed with a Velcro fastener. When unrolled, it measures 558 mm x 483 mm (22 inches x 19 inches). It is specially manufactured for Veritas by the Canadian company that invented the 3D knitting process.
Perhaps a bit much for a simple tool roll, but a very compelling story, a high-quality product, and great support for a new technology and a company that deserves it.
