In a conventional plier, the teeth are perpendicular, and the pliers often slip off because the foremost tooth is not exactly at the tip of the plier head. Even if you manage to grip the screw head with the foremost tooth, the gripping jaws slide along it and cannot hold it properly.
The longitudinal tooth design of the gripping surfaces in the PZ-59 grips the screw with all teeth. This tooth geometry allows it to reliably grip screws that protrude only slightly from a surface. It is suitable for damaged round head screws, lens head screws, even if rusted, and can even grip nails.
And of course, the extraction pliers are useful for screws with exotic heads for which you don’t have a suitable screwdriver. Suitable for screw head diameters from 3 to 15 mm.
