Traditionally made Ryoba with a hand-forged blade made from high carbon SK4 steel. The blade features a hard chrome plating for corrosion protection and is designed thinner in the middle than near the teeth to prevent binding. The shaft thickens towards the handle, which gives the saw high stability without the need for a special blade holder. This elaborate manufacturing method makes this saw a unique piece.
