In addition to the lever tensioning like the saw mentioned above, this saw offers the possibility of blade tilting. With a tilt of up to 45° to the right or left, the saw frame is out of the way, and you have a clear view of the cutting line. When working on very fine tasks with a head magnifier (Optivisor) to see the cutting line better, tilting the frame ensures that the head magnifier does not hit the saw frame. The frame is milled from a 3.2 mm thick 6061-T6 aluminum plate and painted red.
