The cutter is delivered with a body made of plastic (ABS: resistant to oils and fats, among other things) that is comfortable to grip even in cold conditions, featuring an 18 mm high, hardened snap-off blade made from proven SK2 steel (good balance of hardness, wear resistance, and toughness). The metal blade guide is also hardened, and the „tip” can be used for screwing, scraping, or levering. While it can be easily adjusted with one hand, the slider has a high pressure resistance (up to 50 kg), minimizing accidental shifting of the blade from any of the many lock positions during work (Autolock). The 8-piece snap-off blade can be changed quickly and easily. By pressing the slider beyond the park position to the back, the end cap can be removed, revealing a holder for a spare blade (not included). The holder can be easily removed, equipped, and reinserted. With an anti-slip guard at the front of the handle and a rear closure cap equipped with a device for safely snapping off the blades. There is a recess at the end of the handle for attaching a lanyard or a thin carabiner. Overall, a must-have without burdensome frills!
