The cutter is delivered with a body made from a plastic (ABS: resistant to oils and fats, among other things) that is comfortable to grip even in the cold, featuring an 18 mm high, hardened snap-off blade made from proven SK2 steel (good balance of hardness, wear resistance, and toughness). The black SK2 blade is far superior to the standard SK4/SK5 blades in terms of hardness and cutting durability.
The metal guide of the blade is also hardened, and the „tip” can be used for screwing, scraping, or levering. While it is easy to adjust single-handedly, the slider has a high pressure resistance (up to 50 kg), minimizing the risk of accidentally shifting the blade from one of the many locking positions while working (Autolock).
Quick and hassle-free replacement of the 8-part snap-off blade. By pressing the slider beyond the park position towards the back, the end cap can be removed, revealing a holder for a spare blade (not included). The holder can be easily removed, equipped, and reinserted.
With a slip guard at the front of the handle and a closure cap at the back with a device for safely snapping off the blades. There is a recess at the end of the handle to accommodate a lanyard or a small carabiner. Overall, a must-have without any burdensome frills!
