The STAR-M circular cutter No. 36 HSS is excellently suited for European hardwoods and all softwoods, as well as for carpentry and particle boards.
The STAR-M circular cutter No. 36T HM is excellently suited for stone walls and tiles.
For all circles over 70 mm, be sure to use a drill stand and securely clamp the workpiece. For circles under 70 mm, you can use a hand-held drill, provided the workpiece is securely clamped and you are standing on solid ground (not on a ladder)! Work only with light pressure and moderate speed, and let the cutting edges gently plunge into the material. Sudden heavy contact with the material due to too fast approaching can cause the drill to get stuck. Be aware that stuck drills release forces that can lead to accidents with a risk of injury.
Before starting work, ensure that all internal hex screws are tightly fastened, including those that only become visible after removing the drill from the holder! Never run the drill faster than 1000 revolutions per minute!
