Product information

The right-angled jaws clamp evenly across the entire contact surface, reliably preventing any damage to the surface. In most cases, additional padding can be dispensed with. When clamping, it is not necessary for the workpieces to be glued together to have parallel surfaces, as the jaws of these clamps allow adjustment to various angles. This makes these clamps very versatile. These wooden clamps can also be used as an additional vise. Clamped into the front vise of a workbench, they serve similarly to a Moxon vice, providing an elevated and thus relaxed position for hand sawing.

The wooden jaws are made from hard maple, and the opposing threads are made from carbon steel. The two smallest sizes have a coarse inch thread (UNC 1/4 or 5/16 inch), while the four larger clamps are equipped with a sturdy trapezoidal thread (ACME 7/16 inch), which allows very high clamping pressure. To achieve maximum smoothness, these threads are galvanized. The handles are held by pins, giving you the option to disassemble the clamp if you need new or differently shaped wooden jaws. This allows you to adjust the shape of the wooden jaws to suit your needs.

These unsurpassed quality clamps are something we might never have known about otherwise. They come from Dubuque on the Mississippi in the USA and are distinguished by excellent craftsmanship.
