This miniature vise made from cast iron is recommended for all tasks involving small workpieces, such as those found in model building or for crafting projects.
Unlike questionable aluminum or sheet metal constructions often offered in this size, this vise stands out due to its suitable material selection and appropriate workmanship.
The unique feature of this miniature vise is the ball head, which allows the vise to swivel into almost any desired position, ensuring optimal accessibility of the workpiece. For securing the position, instead of a wrench, you can also use pliers, an adjustable wrench, or a pipe wrench.
On the workbench or anywhere else, the vise is preferably secured using two M8 screws or shortened threaded rods (not included!), whose length depends on individual requirements.
Ideally, a fixed location where two holes can be drilled for the screws/threaded rods would be best. Alternatively, on multifunctional tables with corresponding holes, the included accessories (threaded rod, wing nut, clamping bracket) can also provide sufficient support. Alternatively, the miniature vise can be fixed to a table edge with these.
With one V-groove vertically and one horizontally for clamping round workpieces, as well as a small hammer surface at the back, the range of functions is sensibly rounded off.
