With this new series in standard size, but with a flattened and oiled wooden round handle, MHG has made a great achievement. These chisels come with a very good finish. They are polished, and then the back side is ground flat again. This achieves two things: the chisels are not sharp-edged anywhere when touched, and through the additional grinding process of the back side, it remains flat. The new series is manufactured using a new forging process, which gives the tools high cutting edge retention, elasticity, and durability. With their high degree of grain compression and the quality of heat treatment of the high-alloy material, usage properties are achieved that were previously reserved only for hand-forged tools. The hardness is 61 HRC (+/- 1) over the entire usable length. Diameter of the handles is 38 mm. Total length depending on the chisel width is 245 to 295 mm.
