With this comprehensive set, it is easy to mill numbers, letters, and special characters, as seen on signs, greeting messages, or house numbers. A frame, which is attached to the workpiece, securely holds the templates that can be combined in any way.
First, the TurnLock™ base plate is mounted in place of the original base plate of the router. If the existing slots do not allow precise mounting of the router, they can be expanded, or additional holes can be added.
Then, the base plate holds the required guide bushing, which is used to trace the templates. The guide bushings can be quickly exchanged without tools via a bayonet lock in the base plate.
With adapters and additional rails included in the set, the area to be worked on can be more than doubled. Two font sizes (letters, digits, and special characters) are available for horizontal labeling. Templates for digits can also be oriented vertically in both sizes.
To achieve appealing results, you will need, in addition to this set, a suitable surface, a router, and a little imagination. For better readability on iridescent natural material, it is quite effective if the lettering is in a contrasting color.
