The new clamp series „Klemmsia 90” is primarily used in situations where the eccentric lever of the classic Klemmsia clamp, when turned over 90°, hits walls, edges, and corners, such as in internal gluing. Due to the special lever design, the full clamping force, according to Klemmsia, is achieved even when the eccentric lever is at a 90° position. Based on our experience, this maximum clamping force is actually reached even before that, see image. Otherwise, this clamp shares the same properties as the classic Klemmsia clamp.
The „Klemmsia 90” can only be visually distinguished from the classic Klemmsia clamp by the small „90°” print at the bottom right of the red logo.
Does this make the classic Klemmsia clamp obsolete? No. The longer lever path of the classic Klemmsia clamp allows for much more sensitive control of the contact pressure compared to the Klemmsia 90 clamp.
