This particularly pure camellia oil from the brand "Kurobara" (= Black Rose) has been produced in Japan for over 80 years using traditional recipes. It is traditionally used for preserving handsaw blades, swords, knives, plane irons, chisels, and much more made of metal. It can also be used as sewing machine oil! This oil is of exceptional purity, acid-free, and food-safe. Moreover, it is tasteless, odorless, and does not dry out, making it especially suitable for kitchen knives. The oil contains small amounts of liquid paraffin and a yellow dye, which helps stabilize the color. It is not edible oil and therefore not suitable for consumption!
