This new 1000HD gauge is the most advanced in the 1000 series from Incra to date. HD stands for „High Definition.” The protractor with 180 fixed angle settings for every single degree and additional locking points at 22.5° helps you reliably avoid mistakes. An additional vernier allows for adjustments accurate to 1/10°! Furthermore, it is equipped with a 464 mm long, extendable to 787 mm, profiled aluminum telescoping fence. The included fold-back „Flip Shop Stop” fence allows for precise length settings. There is a mm scale with a slot for it in the upper part of the fence. It is also suitable for cutting parts for segmented turning, e.g., you can set 25.7° for 7-sided objects and 18° for 10-sided objects to precisely duplicate the parts. The glide guide fits all 3/4 inch (19 mm) T-slots, as found in many machines from the Anglo-Saxon regions and in import machines. On German machines, the slots usually have different sizes. Please measure before ordering to ensure the slot is indeed 19 mm. A 20 mm slot is definitely too large; the plastic expansion discs cannot cover this size anymore.
