In the case of the frame clamp, the clamp is oriented horizontally. Without the spindle, the frame clamp is 298 mm (11-3/4 Inch) long. It comes with a standard-size clamping bracket (distance between the jaws is 41 mm). With the standard-size clamping bracket, you can also clamp workpieces that are slightly thinner than 19 mm. However, in this case, the clamp is at an unfavorable angle, which may cause the workpiece to slip. This can usually be prevented by placing a piece of sandpaper between the jaw and the wood. Clamping brackets in other sizes for thicker workpieces are available separately.
