This extension set can only be used with the frame clamps (Order No. 303409). The mounting plate can be attached to a workbench using the holes. Then, the frame clamp can be secured in the V-shaped cutout of the mounting plate. After removing the jaw from the clamp’s tension bracket, the miter bar can be slid under the tension bracket. The tension bracket locks into the notches of the bar.
If you use the miter bar with the pointed end towards the spindle, and place the 45° angle jaw over the tension slide, you have an adjustable miter clamp.
If you use the miter bar with the flat end towards the spindle, you can use the clamp as an adjustable screw clamp or as a light vise. The opening is a maximum of 200 mm.
