The interchangeable pilot drill allows for precise freehand drilling on all workpieces where the hole should not be at a right angle to the material, such as with stair railings. Suitable for softwood, European hardwood, chipboard, MDF.
The pilot drill is held in place with a hex set screw and can also be replaced with a regular drill tip, giving it the same excellent properties as a traditional Bormax. The shaft is fully drilled through its length, allowing for the removal of resinous or jammed tips with an included pin.
