The BORMAX3 from Famag (Series 1663) is the first carbide-tipped Forstner bit. This drill comes with a centering point, carbide main cutting edge, and carbide-tipped peripheral cutting edge. Suitable for both handheld use (unlike auger bits!) and stationary use for absolutely clean and precise drill holes. Suitable for all woods and wood-based materials, including extremely hard tropical woods! You can even drill many types of plastics with it.
Recommended rotations: 1000 – 4000 rpm, all dimensions in mm!
