The BORMAX3 from Famag (Series 1663) is the first carbide-tipped Forstner bit. This drill comes with a centering tip, carbide main cutting edge, and carbide-tipped peripheral cutting edge. Suitable for both handheld operation (unlike spade bits!) and stationary use for absolutely clean and precise boreholes. Suitable for all woods and wood materials, even extremely hard tropical woods! You can even drill many plastics with it.
Recommended revolutions: 1000 – 4000 min-1, all measurements in mm!
