Veritas Scraper Plane: Flat, Round, Concave
The Miter V27 is the most affordable way to upgrade many machines such as router tables, table saws, disc sanders, etc., that require a more precise stop than the one you currently have or the one that came with the machine. The accuracy of this small V27 miter gauge is the same as that of the larger INCRA models.
To offer an affordable stop, everything that you can easily build yourself has been omitted, such as a wooden stop of any length. The GlideLOCK guide fits all 3/4 inch T-slots, as found on many machines from the Anglo-Saxon region and on imported machines. If you want to build a machine table yourself, e.g., from sheet material, we recommend the appropriate T-slot rail for that purpose.
MITER V27 Details:
27 fixed angle settings
GlideLOCK guide with 4 expansion discs
5° increments in angle setting
Additional fixed setting for 22 1/2°
Adjustment range plus minus 60°
Dimensions of the guide: 15-3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 3/8 in.
(400 mm x 18.7 mm x 9.5 mm)
Slightly undersized to fit into T-slots that are made with larger tolerances.
Diameter of the angle measuring unit: 6-3/4 Inch (172 mm)

This scraper is ready to use. The microbevel allows for easy resharpening at the specified angle of 25 ° and also a simple change to a higher or lower cutting angle without having to grind the entire bevel.

You can build a stop from wood yourself.

This T-clip on the sliding guide is removable. This allows the guide to fit into 3/4 inch rails that do not have a T-widening at the bottom.

4 plastic spacers give you the opportunity to adjust the sliding guide play-free. This avoids inaccuracies that often arise from lateral play.
