Round bench hooks from VERITAS

These clamping elements can be used wherever it is possible to drill a 19-mm hole. The pivoting lever allows for good clamping pressure even in difficult spots. The ratio of the threaded rod to the shaft deviates by 3° from the right angle, ensuring that the pressure is always applied close to the workbench.

Clamping element with shaft 165 mm.
A spring fixes it at the desired height.

Clamping element with shaft 70 mm.
Without spring.

If you do not have a workbench, you can also take advantage of all clamping options on a sturdy table by combining the round bench hooks with VERITAS clamping jaws.

Round parts, as well as all possible workpieces with irregular shapes, can be easily clamped with the Veritas collets. Here in the sketch, they are combined with the round bench hooks from VERITAS. The arrangement of the holes on this workbench top provides a good example of how the capabilities of a conventional workbench can be expanded.

With well-measured and strong pressure, glued frames can be pushed apart.

#ERROR!

Long clamps are very expensive. In an inexpensive way, you can easily make one yourself using a tensioning element and a bench hook (or a wooden block) with the help of a long strip.

A frame can be clamped in such a way that profiling can be done on the inside with the router. (round circle represents router.)
