The steel of these chisels is laminated, meaning hard steel and soft iron are forged together. Small Japanese Carving Chisels by "KAWASEI"
The blades of the chisels from the KAWASEI forge are made from laminated Aogami steel (Blue Steel), which offers outstanding durability. The handle is made from beech wood and feels very comfortable in the hand.
These chisels should not be struck, levered, or drilled with. They are also suitable for beginners as the chisels are very robust. You can find a set of 5 pieces here!
