The blades of the chisels from the KAWASEI forge are made of laminated Aogami steel (Blue Steel), which has excellent edge retention. The handle is made of beech wood and fits very comfortably in the hand.
These chisels should not be struck, pried, or drilled with. They are also suitable for beginners, as the chisels are very robust.
