The blades of the chisels from the KAWASEI forge are made from laminated Aogami steel (Blue Steel), which has an excellent edge retention. The handle is made of beech wood and fits very well in the hand.
These chisels should not be struck, leveraged, or even drilled with. These chisels are also suitable for beginners, as they are very robust.
