With an overall length of 460 mm, FAMAG now offers extremely long wood twist drills.
High-quality design in fully ground quality with centering tip, 2 main cutting edges, and 2 pre-cutters. Specially designed flutes ensure excellent chip removal. Suitable for precise drilling in both hard and softwood, coated boards, and all other wood materials.
This extra-long design can be used almost to its full length – well beyond the spiral length. The usable length is the total length minus the part that is held in the drill chuck. In this case, make sure to ventilate the drill more often, meaning pull it back slightly, so the chips can be ejected. The ideal drill for precise deep hole drilling!
