The WAVE CUTTER Forstner bits from FISCH in Austria have quickly established themselves among the top tier of high-quality Forstner bits. The feared overheating that occurs when drilling with Forstner bits is significantly reduced by the wave grind. Additionally, this wave grind allows for drilling with very little pressure while still cutting powerfully and swiftly.
Design: with centering point, peripheral cutting edge with wave grind, 2 cutting edges, stepped cylindrical shank. Shank diameter for bits up to 30 mm = 8 mm, for bits from 32 mm = 10 mm.
Application area: For drilling tear-free, dimensionally accurate blind holes, for edge drilling, as well as for oblique drilling in softwood and European hardwoods.
